At Artrait ("we," "our," or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.
We collect information that you provide directly to us and information automatically collected when you use the App.
A. Personal Data
When you register or use our App, we may collect:
- •Identity Data: User ID, email address, name, and profile picture (via our authentication provider, Clerk).
- •User Content: Photos you upload for AI generation and the resulting generated images.
B. Usage and Device Data
We may automatically collect:
- •Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (UDID).
- •Usage Data: Interaction with themes, templates, generation history, and error logs.
We use the information we collect to:
- •Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
- •Process your photos to generate AI portraits (the core service).
- •Manage your account and authentication.
- •Process in-app purchases and manage token balances.
- •Improve our AI models and user experience.
- •Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.
- •Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the App.
- •Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activities.
Upload & Processing
Photos you upload are transmitted securely to our servers and third-party AI processing providers solely for the purpose of generating your requested content.
Storage
We store your generated images for 30 days to provide your "History" feature. Uploaded photos are not permanently stored.
Data Retention
Uploaded photos are deleted immediately after processing. Generated images are automatically deleted after 30 days. You can also delete your account at any time to remove all data.
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
Service Providers
We may share data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us (e.g., cloud hosting, AI processing, authentication, payment processing).
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Business Transfers
We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:
Access
The right to request copies of your personal data.
Deletion
The right to request that we delete your personal data. You can delete your account directly within the App via the "Danger Zone" in Settings.
Correction
The right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
A. What Face Data We Collect
We collect photos that you voluntarily upload to the App for the purpose of AI portrait generation. These photos may contain facial images. We do not extract facial geometry, biometric identifiers, or any other data that could be used for unique identification or facial recognition.
B. How We Process Face Data
The photos you upload are used solely as reference inputs for our AI models to generate stylized portraits. We do not use your face data for any other purpose, such as advertising, user profiling, or facial analysis beyond the generation of the requested images.
C. Third-Party AI Providers
To provide our AI generation services, we share your uploaded photos with third-party AI processing providers:
- •China Region: Alibaba Cloud Qwen
- •Other Regions: Azure OpenAI (gpt-image)
These providers process the data according to our instructions and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
D. Storage and Location
All data processing and storage occur on secure servers located in Singapore. Your uploaded photos are transmitted securely and are not permanently stored on our servers.
E. Retention Period
Uploaded Photos: These are used for processing and are deleted immediately after the AI generation is complete. They are not stored in our permanent databases.
Generated Images: The resulting AI-generated images are retained for 30 days to provide you with the "History" feature. After 30 days, these images are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
